Front Office
I grew up wanting to help people and took a night class in dentistry while I was still in high school. Now, as part of Arbor Dental Group, I enjoy helping people overcome their dental anxiety and creating new memories. I like connecting with our patients to find out what they really want, then try my best to give it to them. I want patients to have a “WOW” experience where they feel understood, safe, and cared for.
Outside of work, I enjoy helping out at church and doing volunteer service for Village of Hope. I also like mountain biking with my husband every week.

Registered Dental Hygienist
My father encouraged me to consider dental hygiene as a profession. He thought it would be a good fit for me and he was right. I enjoy working with my hands, working with people one-on-one or as part of a team, caring about people, and helping them achieve better health. As a hygienist, I enjoy the personal relationships I’ve made over the years. It’s rewarding to get to know patients and their families and being of service to people I consider friends. I hope to give each patient a sense of trust that I will always do what’s in their best interests, caring about their dental health and as a whole person.
My husband and I have two grown sons who have graduated college and joined the workforce. Yet my husband and I still love coaching basketball: the interactions with the players, their families, and the camaraderie.

Registered Dental Hygienist
I have always been a “people person,” so it was natural for me to choose a field where I could help people. I enjoy interacting with patients and getting to know each on a more personal level. My goal is to always give patients a feeling of satisfaction and trust when they leave after treatment. I want them to know they can call on us whenever they need care.
I love working but when I get a chance, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, and mentoring youth at my church on Sundays. Of course, I take every opportunity to spend time with my wife and two daughters, too.

Registered Dental Assistant
I always saw myself in the medical field, so when an opportunity in dentistry presented itself, I jumped and loved it from the first day. It is a professional career, which gives me the opportunity to succeed while aiding patients through their dental experience, whether a simple or complex procedure. When a patient is in pain or nervous about their teeth, I show compassion so they become more comfortable and know we care about them. I hope to give patients a comfortable, painless experience.
In my free time, I like to go camping or take walks around Lake Mission Viejo.
Lynn Bottomley
Registered Dental Assistant
After a life-changing event, I chose to enter the dental field because I wanted to work closely with people in a caring, helpful way. I enjoy helping a nervous patient through a difficult procedure by comforting, caring, and educating them. Ultimately, I get to watch them smile when treatment is completed. Sometimes I even get hugs.
When I’m not working, I enjoy movies, KROQ music, baking, vising California’s Indian casinos, and being with my granddaughter, Lucille.
Rose Ruiz
Registered Dental Assistant
A good friend’s mom inspired me toward the dental field, educating me about becoming a registered dental assistant. I’ve been in the field for over 25 years and still love it. Being around people and helping them achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted gives me a great feeling inside. I am always learning new things from the doctors and the patients and it feels good to be part of a wonderful practice like Arbor Dental Group. I believe in treating people the way I want to be treated, with lots of TLC and great customer service.
I love spending my free time with my family and my two boys. My hobbies include motorcycling, scuba diving, and traveling to places I’ve never been before.
Linda V. Kwak
Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions
I became curious and interested in dentistry after spending four years in a dental chair with my orthodontist. I started as a dental assistant in 2000 after I fell in love with the teamwork aspect of helping the dentists and bonding with patients. I love the friendships that grew as I became closer with patients and my coworkers. I love to laugh and make patients smile. I love hearing their stories and holding their hands when they are nervous. I hope to give patients comfort, warmth, satisfaction, and peace of mind.
In my spare time, I like family gatherings, BBQs, and playing board games with my husband and kids. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, practicing healthy living and wellness, reading, and meditation.

Front Office Manager
Dentistry has been in my life since my teen years. I have worked in this field of health services since high school and during my years at UCLA. Eventually, I became a teacher for the Los Angeles Unified School District, married a dentist, and returned to the dental field. Today I enjoy organizing systems that help deliver excellent dentistry to our patients. I like helping patients solve difficult insurance problems, too. Lately, I find great pleasure in seeing “third generational” children in our office practicing good dental behavior.
